Barbara Walsh: princess
the essential difference between their Joanne’s is that Stritch’s wins during “Ladies Who Lunch” while Walsh’s loses
and of course you also have to consider that Stritch deserves some pride of authorship w/r/t the character itself
Patti LuPone is queen too, but of Mrs. Lovett, not Joanne—and probably like the princess or duchess of Mama Rose
